毕业于华中科技大学。

目前已在Pattern Recognition、Signal Processing、IEEE Transactions on Circuit and Systems、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems等国际期刊和International Conference on Pattern Recognition等会议上发表论文16篇。这些成果主要集中在计算机视觉、机器学习等方面。主持承担了博士后科学基金项目一项；作为主要成员参与完成了国家自然科学基金项目2项，国家科技支撑计划项目3项，国家国际科技合作专项项目1项，国家863计划1项等多项国家级，以及省部级重点科研项目。
